We are lucky to be based out of the Church and Wellesley village, in the heart of World Pride 2014.
This year, tens of thousands descended on the city to celebrate community, love and free expression. There were parades, musical showcases and art exhibitions all across the city to celebrate the special event that Toronto was selected to host.
Did you know that pride has existed in Toronto since the 1970’s? Early pride was much smaller of course and the spirit has only grown stronger as the years have passed. The Alfred team was front row centre and had a wonderful time meeting residents and travelers alike. Check out the great photos we took from World Pride Toronto below!
